Trailer Trash Tracys - Candy Girl
I always loved this song, since it first came out way back in 2009. It’s old and trite and kitsch and hoary, but it has the necessary aura, and a beautiful little melody.
It’s now been re-recorded and re-mixed for their first album, Ester - luckily, by someone who absolutely knows what they are doing, and I immediately prefer it to the lingering, faded, washed out original edit. Which is rare for me.
It’s just a shame the rest of the album is only OK. Just OK.
